On several occasions, a lot of people who have seen or heard of resistance bands aren’t entirely sure how they can use them or how beneficial these bands can be in improving their workout. A lot of people tend to overlook them altogether.

However, for those who have used the cable systems at the gym – whether it’s to do triceps pull downs or seated cable rows – the concepts or principles are exactly the same. Without the intention of getting technical, the idea of resistance bands are quite simple and intended to make things easy for people who wish to do their workout at their favorite spot, anywhere out of the gym— homes or anywhere else. Resistance band allows individuals to customize their workout and do so anywhere they choose and that is the basic design.

And because these resistance bands are so versatile, they can be used for quite a number of things from building muscles to building strength to what have you. They have almost an infinite amount of uses and benefits.

One just needs to know how to use them. But once you’ve got to grips with the basics, the benefits are tenfold.

Torroband is a resistance band

In this Torroband Review, how this resistance band can be used and how it is helpful for a workout and the features that make it unique to other resistance bands in the market will be discussed.

The Torroband powerful resistance band trainer is a heavy-duty portable system that comes with four bands and supports resistance up to 350lbs. They’re built with patented anti-slip handles to help the user maintain a firm grip and they can be attached to any well-anchored area. They also come with ankle attachments to enable people to work both their arms and legs to perfect their routine.

Each band is designed to help users achieve the kind of results they expect. They come in 40lbs, 60lbs, 70lbs, and 80lbs for a range of difficulty levels, allowing one to work harder or take it easy on any given day. Plus, they’re lightweight and compact making them easy to store at the end of a workout.

How do Torroband Resistance Bands work?

Torroband works like most other resistance bands which uses tension in the rubber bands to create resistance. Torroband  comes with multiple resistance bands, each of which has a different strength rating. There’s a 60, 70, or 80 pound resistance band, for example, that lets the user customize their workout based on their desired level of intensity or strength.

However, Torroband claims to be different from competing resistance bands because it uses “triple-layer cloth with patented handles” along with a carabiner hook, allowing the system to sustain heavy levels of resistance up to 350 pounds altogether.

There are numerous resistance bands in the market with different makes but Torroband is a flat resistance band  which is also known as strength band or exercise band.

Torroband resistance bands have different resistance level in each band starting from the 40lbs to the additional 80lbs. A total of four bands with resistance equaling 350lbs. They are all the same length but the strength and resistance varies, for example the 40lb resistance band is easier to stretch. This means it’s more suited to exercises that require a greater range of movement. And it’s also slightly easier to use so ideal for anyone who is just starting out.

Moving up from the least, they get harder and harder to stretch out. The 80lb band is the one which provides the most amount of resistance and is the most difficult to stretch. They are made from rubber and can be looped round gym equipment such as a rack or a stand, or attached to door handle or simply used on their own.

They can be knotted to make them smaller – this can help when targeting your lower body. Or you can use your feet to stretch and anchor the band, to suit your height and ability.

What makes Torroband Exercise Resistance Bands unique?

Torroband offers different resistance levels which is important for one to make a real progress in workout or training. With Torrband that offers different resistance levels, one can try one resistance level after another and gradually evaluate progress. They are therefore also designed for high loads and are particularly durable.

What can Torroband be used for?

To build strength – Anyone who is looking to build muscular strength and endurance can benefit from Torroband. Each band exerts a particular amount of force on the muscles when stretched and can be used in both upper and lower body training.

To improve mobility –People who are working to improve their mobility and range of motions can find Torroband resistance bands very useful. Resistance bands are a great way to help people improve their flexibility, but can also be used to improve joint mobility.

For rehabilitation – Torrobands have proved themselves essential for aiding recovery and are especially useful when it comes to working on hip, shoulder and knee injuries.

For weightlifting – resistance bands are also used in weight training. Wrapped around the ends of a weight bar, they make exercises more challenging so you can level up your one-rep max. Equally, they can be used with dumbbells for a similar reason.

For pull ups – Torroband resistance bands can also help you build up to doing pull ups. Loop them around the pull up bar and place your foot or knee inside the band to support your weight as you train.

The resistance bands provides a different style of training unique and distinct from weight lifting. It is entirely different from using dumb bells. Instead of simply lifting a weight, your muscles are under constant tension. This means the actual quality of each rep is significantly improved. And with your muscles working harder, you’ve got better contraction which is the key to getting stronger.

Additionally, it’s always good to find new ways to work out and provide your body with alternative stimuli to help it grow and adapt.

Sometimes lifting heavy in the rack is a more preferred method of training compared to working with dumbbells, simply because you have a guaranteed level of form and consistency.

The more ‘free’ you get with your weights, the more effort you need to put in to controlling your movements to make sure you’re doing them right.

However, although they’re more difficult, doing more free-weight work is essentially going to help you get stronger. And it will also help you improve your functional fitness levels as well. It really is about practice.

Using resistance bands can feel a little shaky at first and getting the feel for them simply takes time and regular use. Also, making sure you control both the tension and the release takes a good amount of concentration. You have to make sure you are maintaining the tension on the band – rather than letting them snap back into place.

The fact as already mentioned above is that resistance bands can feel a little unsteady to use. This just means you need to work doubly hard to maintain your form.

But by doing this, you’re targeting your stabilising muscles and building core strength, all at the same time.

Try doing some overhead tricep extensions using a resistance band, and you’ll realise just how much you activate your core while doing them.

There is a lot more movement involved when using resistance bands compared to more traditional style exercises. However, this is great for working your joints and allowing for more natural movements that you do in everyday life.

Building this sort of strength is great for helping you reach your goals but also stay fit and healthy in later life too.

Machines can be good for beginners as they teach you the general movements you need to be doing in order to target specific muscle groups.

However, they can be restrictive and can force you to move quite unnaturally – depending on your body type – which means you’re not getting the most out of your workouts.

Being able to work the full muscle from extension to contraction will give you the best the results – and that’s what you get with resistance bands.

Having a set of resistance bands can really help if you can’t get to the gym, or if you want to train at home without taking up loads of space. You can also take your own set to the gym really easily. Just  chuck them into your gym bag and you’re all set.

Equally, if you travel around a lot and you want to make sure you get a workout in, you can just take them with you and use them wherever. You can even take them on holiday with you so there’s no excuse not to keep your strength up while you’re away.

Compound exercises are when you use several muscles at the same time. They make for a really efficient workout as well as use more energy and improve your coordination.

Resistance band exercises are naturally more geared towards compound movements, so you can use them to get a full body workout.

Straight bars are great for lifting heavy. However, if you have any shoulder or wrist issues, they can sometimes aggravate your injuries. When using resistance bands, you can control the angle you train at. This means you can avoid training in uncomfortable positions while still targeting the right muscle groups.

And even if you’re not injured, it’s always worthwhile varying your training as much as possible to help avoid straining your joints.

How many times have you used momentum to squeeze out the last few reps while doing a particular exercise? This is much harder to do when using resistance bands. Having to maintain tension on the bands throughout the workout means each rep needs to be high quality and your muscles need to be working hard the whole way – rather than just at the end of the rep.

Ultimately however, this is going to help you progress and develop. So, they are a really fantastic training tool for anyone looking to build all over body strength.

Because you have so much control over how you are using the band – from set up, to positioning, angle and movement – you need to be really focused on the feel of each exercise so you can tell what you’re working.

And once you know you’re working the right muscles, you can focus on squeezing them right until the very end to make sure you’re getting a full contraction.

Employing resistance bands in the right way can really help you improve the quality of your workouts. And they’re really convenient too.

Torroband Customers’ Reviews

Im a big guy 6’1 330 lbs and this set is very sturdy. The set comes with four bands 40-80 pound of resistance. It also comes with ankle straps, 2 handles, a door anchor, and a strap. They have sturdy construction and are very easy to use! Highly recommended! Owned several ones from walmart that I got for like $20 and you can’t even compare between the Torroband and those so-called resistance bands.

there’s no doubt that it’s one of the high-end resistance bands out there. The entire set is on a different level, top-notch~!! I’m not only talking about the bands itself but also about the built quality (especially the handles). oh, and the shipping took 48 hours!! Faster than some of my Amazon orders. That’s the way to go, good luck guys, A+++++++++

I had the cheap metal connectors to handles that are hard to change out weights always clanging around etc. The TORO bands are night and day in quality with pro type handles with heavy duty connectors for bands. They make you want to put hand weights away and just use the bands. Also instead of having 3 or 4 bands to get a weight you want, you can usually do it with 1 or 2 bands. These are truly worth every penny they are charging and more. Love to see some exercising videos using the TORRO b…

I was skeptical at first but after my first workout, things changed. I was able to do a full body workout and feel the tension applied to the muscles. Quite close to lifting weights, pretty darn close and for some-maybe even better. Thanks guys

Bernie O.

It Took about a month to get here but they are worth the wait. Fit and finish, quality of construction , great handles, great quality ends of the band and how they connect to the D rings for connection to handles and ankle straps and anchor points are all heavy duty and probably the best I’ve seen on the market

Carlitos B.

Received mine, and definitely worth the wait!!! Love the pull-up assist band, and the other straps are great for upper body workouts (I run, so I kind of leave leg work to that!)! These aren’t puny bands either – these are the real work-out things!!! Get ya some!!!

Robert N.

Well worth the wait!! Every other tubular band set I’ve seen online are just glorified rubber bands. I gotta feeling these bands will be with me for many years with no issues!! The new style of carabiners on the handles are insanely strong! Plan on getting a Roman Chair with a preacher curl attachment to build myself some serious guns!!! And these bands will make that happen!! WELL DONE TORROBAND!!!

Robert N

These bands are great! I was working out at a gym but covid has made it too dangerous to keep going there. I saw these bands and decided this was a great option to keep training without the gym. They are the stongest most professional bands I have ever used. I bought two sets so I can do heavy squats with them. These bands provide all resistance I need to do a full body workout. I give them a five star rating.

Rick K.

Conclusion  (Torroband Review)
