Lenovo is a Chinese based company renowned in production of laptops and smartphones. Recently they started extending this great ability into the world of smartwatches and fitness tracker and now they have come up with a new smartwatch. This they call Lenovo E1 smartwatch. It has been trending but is it really worth the hype?

DESIGN

The Lenovo E1 Smartwatch comes with a rectangular watch case with a silicon strap or metal bracelet. The strap has many holes embedded on it which ensures the hand does not sweat. It is equipped with 1.33 inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution pixel of 240 x 240 which gives it a clear color display. This screen is covered by 2.5D glasses to protect it from scratches. It can come in three different colours which are black, green or red.

On the back of the watch, there is a heart rate sensor which helps in monitoring the heart rate. Also on the back, you see the charger connector where you connect the charger to charge it when it runs down.

With an IP rating of IP67, the Lenovo E1 is protected from water and dust. So, you can use it in wet conditions. However, it is advised you do not use it for swimming as there is no guarantee for that.

BATTERY LIFE

The Lenovo E1 Smartwatch has a battery capacity of 180mAH. The battery can last for about 7 – 10 days when in full use and can even last up to 25 days on standby. It has a charging time of 2 – 3 hours. So when the battery runs down, you can easily charge it within that little time.

DIAL CUSTOMIZATION

Unlike other smartwatches/fitness trackers that only supports dial market updates or dial downloads, the lenovo E1 smartwatch supports dial customization. YES!, you can customize the dial. With this feature, you can make smartwatch dial of your choice using the lenovo E1 smartwatch. It does this with a feature known as DYI 3D UI. All you need to do is to install the app on your smartphone and from there you can pick the Lenovo E1 smartwatch face of your choice.
